What’s inside?
In This Issue we’ll be
Discussing some of the blessings
Of Black Seed & Zikr of Allah in
The morning & evenings …

Shaykh Salah Al Sheik say’s
Allah doesn’t accept any speech action or intention unless it is in accordance with the Sharia (Islamic law).
The ability for the person to do good deeds is also connected to the food that we eat

Shaving the beard is an act of disobedience to Allah, as is expressed in the words of His Messenger !,
Abu Hurayrah " reported that the ruler of Yemen,
appointed by the Persian emperor Kisra, sent two envoys to the Messenger. When they came into his presence,he noticed that they had shaved their beards and let their moustaches grow big. Hating their ugly appearance, he turned his face away and said,“Woe be to you, who told you to do so?” They replied:“Our lord (Kisra) did!” The Messenger! Responded: “But my Lord, exalted & glorified be He, has commanded me to spare my beard and trim my moustaches.” [Recorded by Ibn Jarir at-Tabari, Ibn
Sa’d, and Ibn Bishran. Verified to be hasan (good) by al-Albani (Fiqh
us-Sirah by al-Ghazali p. 359)]

The Adhkar of the Morning and Evening
By Muhammad Kamil Ahmad
student in the islamic university of Madina

Adhkar in the Arabic language is the plural of Dhikr which means remembrance. When mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah it refers to the remembrance of Allah through certain sayings and supplications.Allah says: “Therefore remember Me (by praying and glorifying), I will remember you.” [Baqarah 2:152]And in the Hadith of ‘Abdullah ibn Busr al-Mazini, he said: A man said to the Messenger of Allah (SAW): “O Messenger of Allah! Verily the legislations of Islam have become too much for us, so is there something we can hold on to which includes everything?” So he (SAW) said: “Keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah.” [Tirmidhi]The scholars of Islam
have written many books in regards to the various Adhkar that

are said at various times and places
throughout a Muslim's life. They have deduced these Adhkar from the Qur'an and various authentic Ahadith. From amongst these books are 'Amal al-Yawm wal-Lailah by Ibn as-Sunni, al-Adhkar by an-Nawawi, and al-Wabil as-Sayyib by Ibn al-Qayyim.One of the chapters that they usually mention in these books is the chapter related to the Adhkar of the morning and evening. What is meant by the morning is the time between Fajr and sunrise, and what is meant by the evening is the time between Asr and sunset.Allah says: “O you who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance. And glorify His Praises morning and evening.” [Al-Ahzab 33:41, 42]And He says: “And
glorify the Praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting.” [Qaf 50:39]There are many
benefits that have been mentioned with regards to these Adhkar. Of the greatest of these benefits is that

these Adhkar keep Shaitan away from the person who recites them, and they prevent the evil from mankind and jinn from harming such people. The person who recites these Adhkar on a daily basis builds around himself a fortress to protect himself from his enemy.Unfortunately, most Muslims today are ignorant of these Adhkar, and very few recite them on a daily basis. As a result, we see many Muslims constantly falling victim to Shaitan and his associates from mankind and jinn, living in misery and depression all their lives. I hope that we take heed from this, and from now on make the Adhkar of the morning and evening a daily part of our lives. The following Adhkar of the morning and evening have been taken from authentic Ahadeeth that I've gathered together from various books. The Prophet (SAW) mentioned certain virtues and rewards for those who recite these Adhkar. If one is interested, he can refer to the Hadith where the Dhikr is mentioned for further detail.1. The Adhkar that are said both in the morning and evening:

“Allah – none has the right to be worshipped except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes
Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the Earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is presently before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi (chair or footstool) extends over the heavens and the Earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.” [Al-Baqarah 2:255] [Nasa'i and Hakim]

(Three times)
“Say: He is Allah, who is One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He
neither begets nor was He begotten, nor is there to Him any equivalent.” [Al-Ikhlas 112:1-4] [Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, and Ahmad]

(Three times)“Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of that which He created, from the evil of darkness when it settles, from
the evil of the blowers in knots (those who practice magic), and from the evil of an envier when he envies.” [Al-Falaq 113:1-5] [Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, and Ahmad]
(Three times) “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer (a devil), who whispers evil into the breasts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind.” [An-Nas 114:1-6] [Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, and Ahmad]

“O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting and Supporter of all, by Your Mercy I seek
assistance, rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye.”
[Nasa'i and Hakim]

“O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You
created me and I am Your servant. I abide to Your covenant and
promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed, I acknowledge Your favour upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.” [Bukhari, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, Ahmad, Ibn Hibban, and Hakim]

“O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the Earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except
You. I take refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil and Shirk of Shaitan, and from committing wrong against my soul or from bringing such upon another Muslim.”

[Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, Ahmad, Darimi, Ibn Hibban, and Hakim]

“O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this life and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my
religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my
weaknesses and set at ease my dismay. O
Allah, preserve me from in front of me, from behind me, on my right, on my left, and from above me, and I take refuge with You lest I be swallowed up from beneath me (by the Earth).” [Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, Ahmad, Ibn Hibban, and Hakim]

(Three times)

praise Him by the number of His creation, by His pleasure, by the weight of His Throne, and by the ink of His words.” [Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, and Ibn Majah]

(Three times)
“O Allah, grant my body health. O Allah, grant my hearing health. O Allah, grant my sight health. None has the right to be worshipped except You.” [Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, and Ahmad]

(Three times)“O Allah, I take refuge with You from disbelief and poverty, and I take refuge with You from the punishment of the grave. None has the right to be worshipped except You.” [Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, and Ahmad]

(Seven times) “Allah is sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely, and He is the Lord of the exalted throne.” [Abu Dawud]

(Ten times)“None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things omnipotent.” [Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, and Ahmad]

accepted deeds.”
[Ibn Majah]

“O Allah, whatever blessing I or any of Your creation have risen upon, is from You alone, without partner, so for You is all praise and unto You all thanks.” [Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, and Ibn Hibban]

“We rise upon the Fitrah (natural disposition) of Islam, upon the word of pure faith, upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and upon the religion of our forefather Ibrahim, who was a Muslim and of true faith, and was not of those who associate others with Allah.”

[Nasa'i, Ahmad, and Darimi]

“We have reached the morning, and at this very time unto Allah
belongs all sovereignty, Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this day, its triumphs, its victories, its light, its blessings, and its guidance. And I take refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil that follows it.” [Abu Dawud]

“We have reached the morning, and at this very time unto Allah belongs all sovereignty, and all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To

Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger.” [Abu Dawud and Nasa'i]
Whoever is able to recite and memorize all of these Adhkar, then indeed that is a great blessing from Allah. As for those who are not able to do so, then let them suffice with that which they are capable of, even if it be just one of these Adhkar. We ask Allah to grant us the ability to recite and memorize these Adhkar on a daily basis, and reward us with what He has promised those who recite these Adhkar.

The messenger of Allah (peace be upon Him) related that Allah ordered Yahya Ibn Zakariyyah (peace be upon Him) with five commandments; to act upon them and convey them to the children of Israel… [The fifth one being]: “and I order you to make mention of Allah often, as this is like a man being pursued at speed by the enemy until he reaches a protected fortress and so protects himself inside it likewise is the servant, he can only protect himself from the shaytan through remembrance of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.”
[Sahih al-Jami ‘#1724]

How to have our dua excepted

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with Him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon Him)
said: Allah the Almighty is Good and accepts only that
which is good. And verily Allah has commanded the Believers to do that which He has commanded the Messengers. So the Almighty has said:
"Oh (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all

kinds pure wholesome Halaal (legal) foods], and perform righteous deeds." [23:51]
And the Almighty has said:"Oh you who believe! Eat of the lawful things that we have provided you" [2:172]
Then he mentioned [the case] of a man whom, having
Journeyed far, is disheveled and
dusty, and who spreads out his
hands to the sky saying "O Lord! O Lord!” while his food is Haraam

(unlawful), his drink is Haraam, his clothing is Haraam, and he has been nourished with Haraam, so how can [his supplication] be answered? [Narrated by Muslim.]
Commentating on this Hadith
Shaykh Salah Al Sheik Said

“This Hadith is the Foundation of the foundations of the Deen (religion).”
The meaning of
“Allah the Almighty is Good and accepts only that which is good.” Is Allah is the possessor of all the goodness, of speech and action. Allah has the best of speech that’s full of wisdom, and he’s the one deserving of our full obedience in all acts of worship.
Allah doesn’t accept anything unless it is directed to him alone, and doesn’t have presented in it any deficiency of speech, action or belief. This good cannot be accompanied by any deficiency, and what is meant by deficiency hear is to direct your good
eed to other than Allah. What is meant by all of this is that
Allah doesn’t accept any speech action or intention unless it is in accordance with the Sharia (Islamic law).
The ability for the person to do good deeds is also connected to the food that we eat, for example the food we eat should be
wholesome and halah (permissible). In this regard many of the people of knowledge say that the good deeds come as result of a persons legal earnings.
The person’s salat (prayer) is accepted in clean clothing, the zakaah (charity)
of the person is accepted from legally earned income, and the hajj of a person is the same; it must come from legal sources of earnings.
Then he (peace be upon Him) mentioned [the case] of a man whom, having journeyed far. This man mentioned here would have all the requirements for the answering of his dua (supplication) as
is mentioned in the hasan hadith of Anas (ra) that three people

will have there dua answered and not
rejected, and one of them is the traveler. Then He (peace be upon Him) mentions that ‘the man had journeyed a far distance’, i.e. to either provide for himself or his families needs etc, and a person doesn’t take a long journey unless necessary.
Then He (peace be upon Him) say’s ‘the man was, is disheveled and dusty’. In this regard the Salaaf (people of the past) would put on rough
Clothing when asking from Allah and not beautiful clothing and cries their needs to Allah in secrecy, because this is
more close to being answered by Allah.
Then He (peace be upon Him) Say’s ‘who spreads out his hands to the sky saying "O Lord! O Lord! O Lord” while his food is Haraam (unlawful), his drink is Haraam, his clothing is Haraam, and he has been
nourished with Haraam, so how
can [his supplication] be answered?’

This is what accrues in another hadith
that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon Him) say’s ‘Verily Allah
is Hayy (Alive) Karim (Generous) when one of you raises his hands to the sky and he returns it empty. Also the food that
you are nourished with will prevent
your dua from being answered.’
There also comes in a narration attributed to Musa (peace be upon Him) that he asked Allah to answer his people’s duas, but Allah said they don’t raise there hands and the blood they spilt are Haraam and they eat from
the Haraam, so how can thy be answered?

Allah Knows best!

Black seed
Narrated Khalid bin Sa'd: We went out and Ghalib bin Abjar was accompanying us. He fell ill on the way and when we arrived at Medina he was still sick. Ibn Abi 'Atiq came to visit him and said to us, "Treat him with black cumin. Take five or seven seeds and crush them (mix the powder with oil) and drop the resulting mixture into both nostrils, for 'Aisha has narrated to me that she heard the Prophet saying, 'This black cumin is healing for all diseases except As-Sam.' 'Aisha said, 'What is As-Sam?' He said, 'Death.' “(Bukhari)
EFFECTS:
Black seed is a safe and effective herb that can be used by almost anyone. No irritations or side effects are caused when the right dose is correctly applied. Its benefits are obtained through consistent use; the effects are medium to long term. Black seed can be used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus or diabetes caused by an allergy, but it is recommended that the treatment be supervised because Black seed lowers blood sugar levels. Pregnant women should not take black seed.

NUTRITIONAL COMPONENTS:

Black seed contains over 100 valuable nutrients. It is comprised of approximately 21% protein, 38% carbohydrates, and 35% plant fats and oils. The
active ingredients of black seed are nigellone, thymoquinone, and fixed oils. Black seed also contains significant proportions of protein, carbohydrates and essential fatty acids.
Other ingredients include linoleic acid, oleic acid, calcium, potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium, selenium, vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin B2, niacin, and vitamin C. The black seed is known in Arabic as the habbutual barakah (the seed of blessing).

Scientific research

Analysis of the black seed concluded that it contains phosphates, iron and carbohydrate compounds together with antibiotics that are capable of killing germs. Chemical analysis of the grain also proved that it contains carotene, which is converted in the liver into vitamin A. This useful vitamin is well known for its anti-cancer activity.Further analysis proved that the grain contains potent sexual hormones, stimulants,

digestive enzymes, antacids, sedatives and other useful compounds. Recently it was discovered that the black seed activates the
Body’s immunity system and increases resistance to disease and the continuous use
of black seeds has a preventative action against disease. Those who seek permanent health should take the black seed oil in their
breakfast, lunch & supper. A teaspoon of
black seed oil mixed with honey will be most effective.

The different names for black seed oil

Black seed oil is referred to differently depending on where in the world you are. Taking the above into consideration it is no surprise that there has been a degree of confusion in finding the exact seed which the Prophet (saws) told us about. As mentioned above it is sometimes called the Black Cumin seed; however this does not resemble the Black Cumin, which the Indians refer to as Jeera/Zeera. The most common English name for the Blessed Seed oil is Black Seed Oil.

For Cough and Asthma

Apply Black seed oil to the chest and back.
Mix a teaspoon of Black seed oil in boiling water and inhale the vapor twice a day.
Take half a teaspoon of Black seed Oil daily in the morning. FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES PART 182 SUBSTANCES GENERALLY RECOGNIZED AS SAFE
FDA Approved Black Seed Oil
In spring of 1996 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted a patent for drug use as an immune system stimulant. The drug is based on extracts of "Nigella Sativa," more commonly known as the Black seed or Black cumin. The patent was based on "a pharmaceutical composition containing an extract of the plant Nigella

Revelation of Hijaab

By Abuyaqoob

The wives of the Prophet (peace be upon Him) used to go to Al-Manasi, a vast open place (near Baqia at Medina)to answer the call of nature at night.
'Umar (Allah be pleased with Him) used to say to the Prophet (peace be upon Him) "Let your wives be veiled," but Allah's Apostle did not do so. One night Sauda bint Zam'a the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon Him) went out at 'Isha' time and she was a tall lady. 'Umar addressed her and said, "I have recognized you, O Sauda." He said so, as he desired eagerly that the verses of Al-Hijab (the observing of veils by the Muslim women) may be revealed. So Allah revealed the verses of "Al-Hijab" (A complete body cover excluding the eyes).

Allah say’s in The Noble Qur'an sura Al-Ahzab 33:59
{O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Narrated Safiya bint Shaiba: Aisha (Allah be pleased with Her) used to say: When the verse this verse was revealed the Ladies cut their waist
sheets at the edges and covered their faces with the cut pieces
(Sahih al- Bukhari vo.6 Hadith No.282)
furthermore from the language perspetive the word Jalabeeb plurle of jilbaab is, the arabic word which means the loose outer garment that covers all a woman's body. It says here to use the Jalabeeb to cover all, and

scholars say this means to use it to cover her head (agree upon by all scholars) and her face (agreed by many scholars, not all) and one or both eyes, in order for it to be known that she is a free woman and so not to be exposed to any harm.

Narrated Dihyah ibn Khalifah al-Kalbi
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon Him) was brought some pieces of fine Egyptian linen and he gave me one and said: Divide it into two; cut one of the pieces into a shirt and give the other to your wife for veil. Then when he turned away, he said: And order your wife to wear a garment below it and not show her figure.
(Abu Dawud)

Narrated 'Aisha (RA) who said, "The riders would pass us while we were with the Messenger of Allah). When they got close to us, we would draw our outer
cloak from our heads over our faces. When they passed by, we would uncover our faces."

Commenting on the method of coving of the face

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Uthaymeen says "she is not required to cover her face during the prayer unless there are non-related men around her. She must then cover her face from them, as it is not allowed for a woman to uncover her face except to her husband and her male relatives i.e., mahram."
If a woman is not around any non-mahram men and does not fear that any will enter her area of Salah, she may reveal her face and hands. This is agreed upon by the group of scholars. So, whether agreeing that niqab is required or not, one must surely acknowledge that it is a desirous sign of piety. What better example of Sunnah to follow for a muslimah than that of the Prophet (peace be upon Him) and his wives (Allah be pleased with them).Every Muslimah is encouraged to cover to the fullest, showing only one or both eyes.
Fatwa Shaykh Uthaymeen

The Beard
Excerpt from the book of Muhammad Al Jibaly (the beard between the Salaf & the khalaf
Definition
The Arabic word for beard is lihyah. It derives from lahy (jaw) and lahyan (the two jaws). Thus, a beard is defined as the hair that grows on the cheeks and jaws- [Al-Qamus ul-Muhit by al-Fayruzabadi, and Lisan ul-Arab by Ibn Manzur]. It
includes the hair that grows on the temples, underneath the lower lip, the hair of the chin, and the hair that grows on the lower side of the jaws.
Ruling
Growing the beard is wajib (mandatory) for all males who are capable of doing so. As will be presented below, there is ample evidence for this in the Sunnah, and it is the unanimous opinion of the ‘ulama’ of Islam.
Position of the Scholars
All the (scholars) of as-Salaf us-Salih (the Righteous early muslims),
including the Four Imams, agree that shaving the beard is haram. They consider shaving it an impermissible mutilation, as has
been reported from Umar Bin Abdul Aziz- [At-Tarikh by Ibn Asakir]. They
considered the man who shaved his beard effeminate. Many of them would
not accept his testimony or allow him to lead the prayers.
THE HANAFIS
According to the Hanafis:
“It is prohibited for a man to cut his beard ... as for cutting it shorter than a fist-length - as is done by some people from the west and by the effeminate men no one permits this. And as for shaving it completely,
it is the doing of the Indian Jews and the Persian Magians” [Persian Magians-Followers of an old religion, possibly the same as the "Zoroastrians"] [Ad-Durr ul-Mukhtar].Ibn-Abidayn said:
“It is prohibited for a man to cut his beard.” (Radd
ul-Muhtar [2:418])

The Beard

THE MALIKIS
According to the Malikis:
“Shaving the beard is prohibited, as is cutting it if it causes a (clear)
mutilation. But if it becomes oversized,
& if cutting it would not appear as a mutilation, then it may be cut; but that would be disliked and contrary to that which is better.” [Sharh ur-Risalah by Abu al-Hasan,and the commentary on it by al-Adwi]
Al-`Adwi said:
“It has been reported from Malik that he hated shaving anything under the jaws, until he said, ‘It is from the doing of the Magians.’ And it is prohibited to remove
the hair of the beard.” [Sharh ur-Risalah by Abu al-Hasan,
and the commentary on it by al-Adwi (2:411)]
Ibn Abd al-Barr said:
“It is prohibited to shave the beard, and it is not done except by effeminate men.”[At-Tamhid]
THE SHAFI’IS
As for the Shafi’is, al-Imam ash-Shafi’i has expressed that it is prohibited to shave the beard [al-Umm]. Also, al-Athru’i said, “The correct position is that it is prohibited to totally shave the beard without a (medical) problem with it.”[Sharh ul-Ubab].
THE HANBALIS
The Hanbali's agree without exception that it is prohibited to shave the beard [Al-Insaf, Sharh ul-Muntaha, etc.].

Ibn Taymiyyah stated:
“It is prohibited to shave the beard.” [Al-Ikhtiyarat
ul-Ilmiyyah (p.6)]
As-Saffarini said: “It is agreed in our mathhab that it is prohibited to
shave the beard.” [Ghitha ul-Albab (1:376)].
IBN HAZM
Ibn Hazm al-Andalusi said:“All of the scholars
agree that shaving the beard is a form of mutilation, and is prohibited.” [Maratib ul-Ijma' (p.157), and al-Muhalla (2:189)]
IBN TAYMIYYAH
Shaykh ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said:
“Because of the authentic hadiths, it is prohibited to shave the beard, and no one has ever permitted it.”
CONTEMPORARY SCHOLARS
The great scholars of our time have expressed that it is prohibited to shave
the beard or cut it short. Among those are Ali Mahfuz, Muhammad Nasir ud-Din al-Albani, Abd ul-Aziz Bin Baz, al-
Kandahlawi, Abu Bakr al-Jaza’iri, Ismail al-Ansari, and many others.
Extent of the Beard
The commands of the Prophet ! clearly indicate that the beard should be
completely spared. Furthermore, the Prophet ! and his companions had full and large beards.
There are no authentic reports indicating that the Prophet ! trimmed his beard. However, there are authentic reports from a number of the sahabah -
particularly, Ibn-Umar, Abu Hurayrah, and Ibn-Abbas (may Allah be pleased with
them all), indicating that they used to cut what extended beyond a fist-length. There are similar reports as well from a number of the salaf such as Ibrahim an-Nakhi, Malik, and Ahmad. [Several such authentic reports are compiled byal-Albani in ad-Da’ifah (following hadith no. 2355)]
When ‘Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), went for Hajj or Umrah, he used to hold his beard with his fist and cut whatever extended
beyond his fist. [Al-Bukhari]
Thus, the general command of sparing the beard should be restricted to the understanding and practice of the sahabah, and its length below the chin should not exceed a man's fist.
1. Disobedience to Allah

2. Disobedience to the Messenger
Shaving the beard is an act of disobedience to the Messenger ! who commanded the men to spare their beards in many hadiths. Ibn Umar (mayAllah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Messenger ! said:“Closely trim the moustaches,& spare the beard.”
[Al-Bukhari, Muslim and others].
Obeying the Messenger ! is equivalent to obeying Allah:
“He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah; and as for those who turn away: We have not sent you as a
guardian over them.” [An-Nisa 4:80]

3. Deviation from the Guidance of the Messenger
There is no doubt that Allah’s Messenger! is the best example of a man, both in his appearance and actions.
Allah says:
“There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern - for anyone whose hope is
in Allah and the Last Day, and who
remembers Allah often.” [An-Nisa' 4:80]
And Jabir " reported that Allah's Messenger ! said: “Verily, the best guidance is Muhammad's guidance.”
[Recorded by Muslim].
Jabir Bin Samurah " reported that Allah's Messenger ! had a large beard
[Recorded by Muslim]. Shaving the beard clearly exhibits a deviation from his
appearance and guidance.
4. Deviation from the Way of Believers
One must strive to follow the ways of the believers and identify with them.
This is an obligation expressed by Allah:
“Whoever opposes the Messenger, after guidance has
become clear to him, and follows other than the way of the ‘Believers’, We will give him what he has chosen and let him into Hell: What an evil
destination!” [an-Nisa 4:115]
Note: The description ‘Believers’ in the ayah applies first and foremost to the Sahabah [the Prophet's companions-May Allah be pleased with them all]
All of the prophets (alaihis-salaam), the Sahabah (the Prophet's
companions), the great ‘ulama’, and the righteous Salaf (early Muslims) of
this Ummah (Nation) grew their beards. There is no report of a single one of them selectively shaving his beard. -For example, Allah tells us

that Harun (alaihis-salaam) addressed his brother Musa (alaihis-salaam) as follows:
He said, “O son of my mother! Do not hold me by my beard or head.” [Ta-Ha 20:94]
Furthermore, there are authentic reports indicating that the Rightly Guided Successors, as well as other sahabah and tabi'un had large beards. Abu Bakr " had a thick beard [Qut ul-Qulub 4:9], Umar " had a big beard [Al-Isabah
2:511], Uthman had a large beard [Al-Isabah 2:455], and Ali's beard was so wide as to span the distance between his shoulders [At-Tabaqat (3:25) by Ibn Sa’d],
Therefore, shaving the beard exhibits a clear deviation from the way of the believers.
5. Imitation of the Disbelievers

The Muslims have been commanded to be different and distinct from the disbelievers. In Surat ul-Fatihah, we are commanded to ask Allah to guide us away from the ways of the disbelievers:
“Guide us to the Straight Path - The path of those
upon whom You have bestowed Your favor, not of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who are astray.” [Al-Fatihah 1:6~7]
Also, Allah prohibits His Messenger ! from following the desires of the ignorant. And indeed, anyone who is not on the True Guidance is gnorant.
Allah says:

“Do not follow the whims of those who have no knowledge (of Islam).” [Al-Jathiyah 45:18]
The Prophet ! has indicated that a person who imitates a certain people will
be counted (in Islam) as being one of them. Ibn
Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Messenger ! said:
“I have been sent, close to the Last Hour, with the sword (to fight for the truth) - until Allah is worshipped alone without partners. My sustenance has been allotted under the shade of my spear. Humility and defeat have
been allocated to whoever strays from my command. & whoever imitates a people is one of them.” [Recorded by Abu Dawud and others. Verifies to be authentic by al-Albani (Irwa ulghalil
no. 1269)]
How terrible it would be for a person whom Allah has favored with Islam to find himself resurrected on the Day of Judgment among non-Muslims – simply because he liked to imitate them. In several hadiths, Allah's Messenger! has linked sparing the beard to
being different from the followers of other religions.
Abu Hurayrah " reported that the Prophet ! said:
“Cut the moustaches and grow your beards. Be different
from the ‘Magians’.” [Recorded by Muslim and Others]Note: ‘Magians’ - Followers of an ancient Persian religion.

Abu Umamah " reported that Allah's Messenger ! said:
“Cut your moustaches and leave your beards alone. Be different from the people of the scripture.” [Muslim]
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Messenger !
said:
“Be different from the ‘mushrikin’; trim your moustaches & save your beards.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Note: ‘mushrikin’ - Those who join others with Allah in worship. Therefore, shaving the beard is an act of imitation of the disbelievers, and should be extremely abhorred. It conflicts with many fundamentals of Islam,
and yet many Muslim men do it in compliance with the practices of the
disbelievers! Verily, Allah's Messenger ! has foretold the truth, as was
reported by Abu Said al-Khudri " that he !, said:
“You will follow the example of those who preceded you, hand-span for hand-span, and arm-length for arm-length. Even if they entered into a lizard's hole, you would surely enter it!” He ! was asked, “Do you mean the Jews & Christians?” He replied, “Who else are the (previous) people?” [Recorded by al-Bukhari, Muslim and others].

Our Objectives.

Firstly a complete return to the practice of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon Him), according to understanding of the (the pious Predecessors).
Secondly to purify everything related to the life of the Muslim against Shirk (associating partners with Allah)
in its various forms and to warn against bid’ah in this complete Deen of ours.
Thirdly to educate and cultivate our community in there true Deen; and to call them to act according to its rulings, cultivate within ourselves the morals and noble manners of Islam.
Fourthly to try and find practical Islamic solutions to for our everyday problems, by working with the statement of Allah {Ask those who know if you don’t know}, and they are the people of knowledge (i.e. the Ulema of our time and the books of the Ulema of the past).
Also working with the statement of Allah {Hold fast all together to the rope of Allah and be not divided amongst yourselves.} Al Imran: 103
And Allah also says {if you differ in anything then return it back to Allah and his Messenger if you truly believe in Allah and the last day.}
Finally to invite the non Muslims to this blessed way of life, Inshallah (by the permission of Allah)
This is our call and we call upon all Muslims to assist us in shouldering this responsibility which will awaken and uplift them to spread this message of Islam to all corners of the world, but firstly here at home to our families, and then to our community at large; Inshallah.
